| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Pours copper with a thin head. Not much of an aroma. Flavor was heavy malt, some caramel, toffee, and some biscuit. Not that much hops, I thought the beer was okay, but nothing special. Ofortuna (322), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Light copper hue with a fairly typical two-finger head. Some sharp citrusy notes and a bit too sweet for my liking. A bit of toffee and biscuit, but quite unbalanced here and seems just thrown together. Finish is just dominated by a pine flavour and leaves me just confused as to what they were trying to do. One of Lagunitas poorer beers. markwise (1187), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 3, 2008 From the bottle. This beer has a slight aroma of fruit with some sweet malt. This beer is a bit unbalanced with the malt and hops conflicting for a share in the taste. The hops want it a little more and dominate the finish, but it leaves a finish that is a bit malty with some pine. Not as good as some other Lagunitas beers. jfm (1695), Holbæk, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Bottle. Light hop aroma on a malt base. Amber color with a white head. Malt body with light caramel and nut flavors. Light dry bitter palate with light hop notes. Not bad. emerica56 (583), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Pours a clear red color with no head retention at all. The nose is of rich caramel toffee and caramel malt with some earthy hops. The flavor is smooth caramel and butterscotch toffee with an initial bitter tartness on the tip of your tounge. Personally enjoy the sweet candy sugar that coats your mouth like a film. The finish is kind of bland all you can taste is the left over sugar but the flavor is not as intense as it is when the beer is in your mouth. yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark
