| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 18, 2007 Pours a clear orange-amber with a fairly small, off-white, frothy head which is mostly diminishing and leaves minimal lace. Nose is fairly bland with toasted notes, caramel, and a faint spicy hop presence. Sweet, rich caramels make up most of the flavor with some light fruity notes, nutty hints, and traces of molasses. Flavor dries out a bit and carries just enough bitterness. Palate is medium, soft to lively, and almost a bit syrupy in texture. Finishes still sweet and a bit dry but with the hops almost balancing the sweet malt notes with some spicy, herbally notes and a lingering presence of citrus? Interesting and unlike other beer, it doesn’t really fit into a specific category. Not complex but quite drinkable and enjoyable. ucusty (1919), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

It has a beautiful colour, a pretty good foamy head, and rich, well-rounded, complex flavour while stil being light and very easy to drink. FLnative80 (174), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Bottle. 12 fl. oz. A reddish-copper color with frothy off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with some sweet, malty caramel as well. Light to medium bodied with a nice, smooth texture. Pretty sweet flavor all around but does have some dry bitterness towards the finish. A good beer, but had to switch to something else after two or three as the sweetness became too much for me. Eructoblaster (1510), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2007 Bottle - 12 oz. Hazy amber/copper body with low carbonation and a thin off-white foamy head. Nice hoppy aroma with malty, oaky and fruity notes. Very well balanced hoppy taste that hides the alcohol very well. Some fruity and oaky hints are detectable, and the texture is smooth/oily. Ends with a good bitter finish. In spite of a lack of complexity, this is still a good one. BierBauch (652), Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Bright clear copper in color. Very light layer of froth. I’m getting grains and straw in the aroma, not much else. Medium to light bodied. Nice alty flavor with a bitter finish Very easy to drink but nothing special. mike mcneil (660), St Augustine, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 7, 2007 A surprisingly well done "Copper Ale". Pours an attractive clear copper-orange color under a 1/2" tight white head. Good head retention throughout the glass. No lacing noted. Aroma seemed very reserved and muted. Nothing off, just too mellow. Faint notes of caramel malts and some Noble or English hops barely make a presence. Palate was very pleasant; smooth, round and creamy with a subtle carbonation. Flavors were very well balanced here. Starts off with a Sugar Daddy caramel and dark honey flavor followed by a quite firm herb and spice hoppy bitterness. Finishes smooth and slightly sweet. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable. dchmela (1466), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 7, 2007 Dark copper pour with decent size white head. Slightly hoppy aroma, very subtle. Tastes very smooth and malty with a hint of fruit. A slightly thick aftertaste, but was a very easy drink.
