Smelled of sweet cinnamon and crumb cake. The flavor was fresh and especially light for a higher abv%. Poured amber with a thin film for the head. No complex maltiness. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 6, 2007 Forgot about having this one on my Cali trip, so I wont have much of a description, but I remember this one being a nice malty copper colored ale. A bit alcholic, but one that was interesting enough I would try again. Nephilium (553), Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 5, 2007 This one shocked me when I learned the ABV on it. It pours a clear amber, with a small off-white head. The smell is a hint of malt, and little else. The flavor is that of a heavier red ale, with a nice lasting mouthfeel. This is one that I enjoy, and will be getting again.
