Commercial Description:
This ale contains no actual copper but we're pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots'a nice caramel malt though... Alcohol 5.9% by volume

Pours copper just like the label says. hell, I don’t even know what a copper liquid looks like, i’m actually just taking their word for it. Smells of hops and sweet malt. Tastes of sweet malts, caramel, and what i am guessing is amarillo hops. Very yummy, well balanced, and a great session brew.

Title is accurate, copper in color. Small head, very nice malty aroma. Impressive balance of hoppiness with the sweet taste, slightly fruity. Light bodied, a solid ale.

Awesome maltiness in aroma and flavor, intense Munich/Melandoidin character, though an easy drinking beer with light body, moderate sweetness, and enough bitterness to keep in balance. A true pleasure for malt lovers.

I seem to always enjoy this one. Again, no different. Nice balanced flavorful beer. Some hop bitterness to balance the sweetness of caramel and creamyness.

A delightful marriage of rich nut, caramel and roasted malt. Expertly balanced. A bit heavy on the finish. A good one!

[Bottle] Pours deep reddish-amber with a ring of off-white head. Aroma is weak, sweet, and quite fruity. A little green apple, and...surprisingly little else. Taste is not nearly as sweet as the aroma, with a good deal of malt, and naturally a considerable hop bitterness on the swallow. Very simple and still not great, but not awful. Not bad mouthfeel, fairly smooth, and has a finish that is average to slightly below so. Really this was quite boring and there wasn’t much going on with it.

some maple and out of town hop aromas .. . dark copper pipe color .. . good foam .. . hides the abv well .. . nice sweetness but a weird feel, not quite gravy with me... starts out nice but shitty finish ... we don’t want no problems with no reefer addicts alright!?!

clear and ruby. pretty beer. sweet apples on the nose. juicy smell. odd for a beer. begins soft and tart and ends nutty. light feel. a touch metallic. and a touch too sweet. Still, I like it.
