Commercial Description:
This ale contains no actual copper but we're pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots'a nice caramel malt though... Alcohol 5.9% by volume

This, I guess, is also the Kronic, however, it’s being sold here in the East as "Lagunitas Censored Rich Copper Ale". It’s a perfect copper color, medium head, toward a while cream with medium bubbles. Medium hop coverage, while having a nice smooth (slightly sweet) malt. Pretyt pleasant, and wouldn’t mind seeing this on tap somewhere. Nice bite on the sides on your tongue. A little creamy, kind of like your standard pub ale, on the tongue. (Bottle Pour 5/12/2008)

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX... Pours a nice looking clear deep amber with minimal off-white head....Nice aroma of caramel. Flavor is very nice, medium sweet caramel, hop’s, with a nice strong bitter. Mouthfeel is med.-full body and med-high carbonation. Overall, pretty enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a cooper color with a small white head. The aroma is friut and hops. The flavor is sweet and rich. Tastes like fruit. Doesn’t taste like alcohol at all to be called an American strong ale. A decent beer though

Pours a dark copper with a two finger creamy yellow head. The nose is heavy on the malt, sweet, caramel, candy, fruity, some citrusy hops, smells like an english BW. The flavor is rich, sweet and malty, light grapefruit rind, earthy malt character, slightly peaty. Mouthfeel could be beefed up and the alcohol shows slightly. Drinkable.

Flavor/Palate : Medium full bodied with lighter finish. Malty feel with more of citric all American hop notion. Late tea bitterness spiked with citric tang. Straight solid brew.f-7-
