| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2009 Poured a dark brown some black to it, very small head not much lacing. Aroma was some chocolate and pepper but not typical pepper aroma. Flavor was tons of chocolate and roast, pepper finish on the tongue. Good brew

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Bomber. Hazed, very dark brown with a beige head. Chocolate and molasses dominate the sweet nose, some light fruity notes, a bit of alcohol. Roasty malt flavors, a bit of pepper and chocolate. It’s tough for me to decide if I like this or not. Drippy lace and a satin body. As an imperial stout, it’s a huge FAIL, but I found it growing on me. OK, I guess I DO like it. Kinda. Weird. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 11, 2009 A very unique brew. I dont know if I would classify it as a imperial stout, as it is not as dark and not the same consistency of most imperial stouts. Pours dark brownish, not the normal black. Is really malty and not too roasted. Overall it is quire a flavorful drink. lots of spices that are not common but overall not bad. Worth a try but caution on expectations. vyvvy (2044), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 10, 2009 Pours quite dark with a light brown soapy head. The aroma has smooth roasted malt, green apple, light pepper and cream. Medium body that’s quite rough with overly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with peppery roasted dark malt with lots of phenolic notes. The finish is dry, funky and a bit off. An okay beer, but I don’t need another. alexanderj (2252), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Bottle. Poured a dark, muddy brown color with a khaki colored head. Aroma was pretty nice; chocolate, cookie dough, with some yeast and earth. Not the greatest flavor, but it is definitely tasty for the price. Some roasted malt, chocolate, cookie dough and caramel, with a bit of hops/pepper in the finish. A pretty solid beer overall. IrishBoy (2712), Bakersfield, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Bomber from Bottle Barn. Looks like a porter; clear brown with a big beige glass lacing head; pour looks like a nitrobeer with tiny bubbles rising slowly in a layer from the bottom. Nose of coffee, roastiness, and grits. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, and extremely light hop bitterness in the finish. Body not thick or dark enough for an impy stout. I woyuld have rated it a little higher if it was a porter. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 6, 2009 Not as complex and "big" as some of the notable impy stouts, but crisp and easy drinking. Aroma is sweet chocolate and some breadiness. Taste is roasted malts, lots of chocolate, some caramel. Finishes clean, but doesn’t leave any lingering taste, which is where this beer is lacking. 3.99 for a 22 oz bottle is a great deal. Jwasciuk (194), Lowell, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 11/20 | Apr 6, 2009 pours muddy black with a creamy light-brown head. Aroma is malty of cookies and roasted malts, lightly hoppy and lightly yeasty. Flavor has a great balance, roasted malts, carmel with a firm bitterness and a clean finish. Full bodied creamy and softly carbonated, Best of the series so far.
