Black with a slight head. Strong aroma of fruits. Prominent coffee flavor with hints of chocolate. Full body with a thick texture and a long finish

Dark chocolate, malty, coffee, fruitcake, raisin, and dry hop notes. Would pair well with vanilla ice cream!

Pours brown w/lots of yeast sediment from the 22oz. bottle: Not your typical imperial stout. Flavors of brown sugar, dark fruits, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, berries, and spices. Medium bodied. I feel like I’m describing a barley-wine rather a stout- lacking just a few percentages of alcohol. Sweet malts overpower... a little too sweet. Drinkability: Peculiar but good. It is what it is. Rebuy: Sure. #175 on 30102009, DG.

This beer pours a black with something floating in it (yeast?). The aromas are milk chocolate and light coffee. The flavor is dark chocolate, canilla and hops. Not all that bad, but I had higher hopes for it. Cheers!

Bottle from Bruisin’ Ales in Asheville. Pours dark brown with minimal head. Dark, but still translucent. Super sweet... lots of malt, toffee, plums and dark fruits. Some cocoa. Peat notes like scotch. Peppercorns are minimal if present at all. Some weird wet dog notes on the aroma at first, but they die down. Thin palate. Odd, but not bad. Much better as it warms.

Bottle thanks to mes had at mes’s gaff. Alround rating: Treackle sweetness, big stout with some fairly unusal charactistics off the spices. Strange but good.

@Freaktoberfest, pours brown with almost no head, aroma of chocolate, nuts and orange with some whiskey notes, flavor is quite balanced, grapes, honey, whiskey, biiter grapefruity finish, medium to full bodied, flavor is untypical to its style.

bomber - clear, dark brown with thin white head; malty, candy, stale roastiness, chocolate; almost like a strong wee heavy at first; thin body is kind of sweet; stout seems very mild, but comes out as a nice beer; caramel, sweetness, slight spice; a chocolate scotch to me
