Bottle 65 cl. Opaque dark brown with a dense light brown head. Mashy aroma, nuts and roasted malt. Quite full-bodied with very sweet burned caramel accents, nuts and wood. Very alcoholic finish without much bitterness. More candy water that Imperial stout. 110709

Murky dull brown. Light dark fruits and a hint of chocolate in the nose. Fairly light. Slightly rank character. Some chile noted but this is thin, going nowhere stuff. Yikes.

(22oz bottle) Small beige head atop cola black body. Aroma is medium sweet, milk chocolate, some pepper, roast, light vanilla. Taste is moderately sweet, milk chocolate, some coffee/roast, light pepper/alcohol. Low carbonation, silky medium body. Alcohol surprisingly well contained, making this quite drinkable.

A Mes rate. Bottle BIG thanks to the legend that is HogTownHarry
As I drink this I’m listening to Roxy & Elsewhere. Just thought you should know that. As a result I’m struggling to pay attention to the beer but I’ll try my best. "I need a little more cheapness please..." Ruby black body "I am not a crook" with a good beige head. "I I I I just can’t believe, you are such a fool" Rich malt, lots of chocolate, some bread and some warming alcohol. "Well I’m about to get sick, from watchin’ my tv" chewy and fruity, plenty of boozy goodness, maybe a little too much malt but who cares really when the music is this good? "There’s no way to delay that trouble comin’ everyday"

Love Zappa so much, love Lagunitas for doing these beers.

22oz bottle. Poured a deeper reddish-brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate, toasted grains, and some white pepperiness. Tastes of chocolate, lighter coffee, some dark fruits the same lighter pepperiness, and some caramel. A littler different and interesting. Some lacing left on the glass.
