Not too much in the aroma, brown with a thick dark head. A sweet caramel flavor. Thick and rich, a nice finish. Maybe some nuts. An excellent finish. Great stuff.

Update 3/26: Presents very much like a Baltic Porter, I was thinking Duck Rabbit almost. Ridiculously underrated, I hope Lagunitas can turn this into a regular release.

Ridiculously sweet, definitely presents like a winter-seasonal ale with very dark opaque presentation. Very sugary. Tasty. Lovely.

Aroma is strong, hoppy and yeasty with an earthy undertone of molasses. It pours a rich, opaque sable with a fairly thick but not too persistent pale tan head. Flavor is mouth-filling, earthy, sweet but not cloying, with coffee and molasses tones and just a whisper of hoppy bitterness. Texture is silky-smooth and nicely tingly, leaving a coffee-ish, slightly sweet aftertaste.

Bomber at Jerry’s. Dark brown with decent, creamy brown head / Mild cigar and fruit box nose / Medium body, chewy, with good balance and dry finish / Mellow, winey flavors of roast barley, straw, tobacco, coffee, white peppercorns, semisweet chocolate, and vanilla / Not the typical coffee-chocolate monster, but interesting and more complex and balanced than many.

Bottle. Once opened the aroma filled my nostrils instantly. Chocolately, malty and roasted. Wonderful smell. Poured thick and dark with a small, creamy head. Tastes rich and roasted. Definitly worth it.

Very lovely, silky smooth on the palate. 8.6%? Very well hidden then. I get those hints of the chocolate nibs without this delving into "chocolate stout" territory and the peppercorn is restrained.

Bottle. Body-opaque with a half inch foamy head. Nose-malty, lightly toasty, metal. Taste-grape juice, light Tootsie Rolls, medium to high CO2, not too sweet, light malt balls, light toasted coconut, raisin, unsweet dark fruits, and grape blow pops. A damn enjoyable beer. Nearly flawless.
