Bottle at Zum Biergarten. Unclear, amber with a beige ehad. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, roasted) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body. Very fine.

12 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. Some citrus, orange hoppy aroma is initially apparent before some malty cereal-like aromas take over. A bit musty. Transparent golden-orange body with a billowing, frothy, white head. Light astringency to start, becoming quite soapy and rather odd. Weird malty mouthfeel in the middle. Some hoppy tannins then take over later on with some herbal hops. A bit metallic, too. I don’t know...this soapy mouthfeel and flavor is just making this tough to drink.

Bottle; copper color with not much head. Light aroma of citrus, grass and caramel. Flavor was subtle and decent. Caramel, citrus, with a lot of grassy hoppiness. Pretty solid hop presence. Palate was average; overall it was enjoyable, but forgettable.

Copper appearance when poured, faint aroma of grass/hops. A little hop on the body, but a slight acidic/odd finish. Standard pale ale.

Not the bestpale on the market, but then again, not a HUGE fan of pales. Aroma of pine, grass, and a hint of grapefruit. nice clean finish.

Golden light bronzed color with a moderately hoppy and distinctly hoppy PNW pale ale. Flavorful and almost sessionable. This beer tastes like NorCal. Love it!

Archetypical APA gold, moderate head formation. Visually, a dead ringer for SNPA. Aroma is quite subdued. Light flowery, peachy hops, light caramel. I even get a little bit of something that smells like oak, although that can’t be right. Flavor is initially fairly malty, which then segues into hairspray hops and maple syrup. Weird. Clean doughy maltiness, quite explicit EtOH presence. Metallic notes in the finish, substantial, well-crafted bitterness. Sharp carbonation. There are a few things I like quite a bit about this one, but a lot of weird aspects too that knock it down a bit.
