Aroma is hoppy, fruity and malty. The flavour is fresh and hoppy with a nice fruitiness, some caramel. Hoppy bitterish finish. Tasty indeed! Maria (6225), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Warm amber with a huge, nice head. The aroma has notes of malt and a dusty hop. The flavour has a dry bitterness, sweetness, notes of caramel, roasted malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is dry. 2239 Kinz (2205), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2007 Draft at Capital Ale House, Innsbrook. Medium amber orange, OK head. Aroma was pleasantly of grapefruit hops. Flavor matched, gentle biscuit sweet malts, with a nice, citric hop finish, grapefruit, lemons, faint orange, and apricot. An underrated APA in my opinion. bhensonb (4274), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2007 Aroma of not too sweet malt, balanced by a nice hoppiness. Sort of a brassy amber color, with a white head that won’t stay, but almost laces at the edges. A bit thin but it thickens as the carbonation comes out. The flavor is not too intense. There’s a nice lightly sweet, slightly dark, malt at the start, but the bitter is always there, and tends to dominate the finish. It’s really good, drinkable stuff. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Bottle. Very small white head. Clear copper and very pretty body. A bit strange aroma of mixed malts I feel. Scent of caramel. Pretty dry flavor with surprisingly much hops bitterness for a pale ale which is not especially pale. Soonah (931), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Poured a light (I mean very light) copper color with a one-finger white head that evaporated quickly and didn’t offer much lacing. The aroma reminded me a lot of iced tea. Beyond the tea smell was a bit of malt. The flavor was a bitter, unsweet tea flavor. I’m guessing it was from the hops used. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 8, 2007 12oz bottle: Pours a big off-yellow head, quickly diminishing. Clearish brown yellow body, average. Sweet aroma, but unlike typical maltiness. More of a sweet candy sugar aroma. Inhaling & swirling brings out some dry hop aroma. Malty, somewhat tempered by the hops taste. Hoppy sweet, but not too dry aftertaste. rickgordon (3297), Göteborg, Sweden

Copper colour. Wonderful, resiny, orangey aroma from hops. Good malty here. Bit light in body. Citric flavour with vanilla, resin and light malty. Bottle was about 1/2 a year old.
