| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 20, 2007 Hazy orange amber with a foamy ivory head that generates scanty lace. Fresh aromas of citrus and woody resin. Decent malt balances the citrus hoppiness with a finish that has just the right amount of bitterness. Some IPAs and APAs are too much to drink all night (at least for me), but this one strikes the right balance. Excellent. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 8, 2007 35,5 cl bottle. Little cloudy amber colour with a fine but fast diappearing head. Strong aroma of caramel and some toffee and light hoppy nose. Also a lot of caramel in the flavour, with a light bitter finish. Very light and tasty, not bad at all. ilikestuff (222), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 6, 2007 Smells like it may have had a caramel covered dog in the fermenter. Taste isn’t bad, a nice crisp hoppiness with a sweet sugary flavor. Isn’t a bad brew at all if you hold your nose while drinking it. Color is crystal clear golden and decently carbonated. Not much head and no lacing, lots of tiny bubbles though (I like bubbles). A decent brew that has odor issues. sunevdj (1788), Copenhagen OE, Denmark
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 30, 2007 Pours a hazy amber with a small head. Smells of caramel. Sweet and lots of caramel. Very nicely backed up by a fresh, dry hoppyness and an easy-to-drink medium body. Long dry, slightly gary finish. Felt like another one right after finishing the firsat bottle. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 19, 2007 Nice copper color with an ample white head of foam. Caught some hop spiciness in the aroma, but not overwhelming.
Tastes wonderful. I like this beer a lot. I was first impressed with the complex malt, bold and a bit sweet, a hint of roasted flavor too, then it finished a bit dry (but still bold). Complex yet smooth. Then the hops kicked in - spicy and floral. Prickly moutfeel from the hops (which are now citrus and piney). This pale ale is bolder, smoother, and hoppier than many an IPA. More complex too. hayduke (1688), Eureka, California, USA

Poured a rich golden yellow with a nice foamy head and good lacing. Big nose of citrus hops. Mouthfeel rich and goes down easy with a nice bitter finish. Good flavors. A far better than average APA.
