| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 16, 2006 Somewhat of a disappointment for me because I really wasn’t expecting such a malty beer. The aroma was decent with a HUGE malt forward nose, with no hops to be smelled anywhere. Appearance was clear, dark orange/copper color, decent head. Mouthfeel was medium-bodied. Flavors were just doughy, sweet and more sweet. I could tell there were some hops in there somewhere crying to get out, but the malts just played to much for this beer. Not bad, but since there are better pale ale’s to be had I doubt I will ever buy this again. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2006 Clear amber, medium white head that was frothy and promishig, but that settled quickly. Orange, apricot, and bready yeast aromas. Medium body, smooth, with a fine, light carbonation. Malty sweetness dominates the flavor , with just the smallest amount of bitter citrus for some balance. A solid drinakble session ale. Sputerbug (112), Nacogdoches, Texas, USA

Mildly hoppy, some sweet malts, caramel, cornfield, grass, dry bitterness. Generally a fine pale ale, but not that interesting. hershiser2 (914), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Bland hoppy flavor, not a bittersweet hoppiness... just kinda average with some hints of citrus. Not bad, not great. jrob21 (1274), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
