Feb 23, 2006 Smells fruity and hoppy. Well balanced aroma that is inviting. Slightly hazy orange-yellow body with a slowly diminishing head. First taste is Wow! perfectly balanced with a few different flavors. As you drink it more, the hops come out a bit and they have an astringent quality to them. Flavor is over powered by this feel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer. Not sure if I will buy this in the near future though. This is a pretty good brewery.

Jan 20, 2006 Nice ,attractive bright copperhued ale, with a large creamy,light tan head.
Aroma is pleasant enough but quite subdued, hints of spicy hoppiness in the background.
This is a quite balanced APA especially for the est coast. Has a substantial malty body with hops dashing in at the end.
Good mouthfeel ,just about correct for the style.
Nice easy to drink pale ale, would buy again if in the mood for something tasty and simple.

Jan 14, 2006 Slightly hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Very middle-of-the-road aroma; some grain, lemon and little floral hops. Flavor has notes of pale malt, caramel, grapefruit/lemon/citrus. Moderately sweet with a solid amount of bitterness for balance. Full, round and creamy on the palate with moderate carbonation. Not much lacing or head retention. Not bad, just very very average.

However, it is redeemed somewhat b/c the head lasts and there is considerable lacing. strong aromas of hops, "vanilla swiss almond" and orange marmalade . tastes of tangerines, lemon, almonds and bold woody and grassy hops. light and easy on the palate. missing something.

Oct 24, 2005 Cloudy orange - light amber color. Nice aroma, hop and vanilla, a bit fruity. Medium body, crispy, malty, biscuits; ends with a strong bitterness, quite aromatic, dry. Good.

Oct 23, 2005 A hazy yellow beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet slightly hoppy and slightly citrusy. The flavor is rather sweet from a good malt blend combined with notes of straw and hint of caramel.

Oct 18, 2005 Golden color. Lots of head but no carbonation. A mild flavor and soft mouthfeel. I can taste some fruits. Not a lot of malt.
