| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2004 The after its disembarking from the 12-ounce brown bottle takes up residence in my glass a slightly hazy amber color with a prosperous creamy light tan head and after its disappearance the lace left over forms a thick and clinging sheet to the sides of the glass. Nose is lightly floral and malt sweet, fresh and appealing to the senses, start is somewhat sweet with a pleasant grain profile, the top medium in its feel to the palate. Finish is stern in its acidity with the hops delightful in their spicy bite, the aftertaste quite dry and a fine representative to the style. BückDich (4856), McCall, Idaho, USA

The aroma is hoppy with n otes of pineapple & toast. The flavor is balanced & tangy. The bitterness level is high in co-humulones so it adds a harsh bite in the tail.
