Deep golden out of the bottle with a foamy egg shell head and lots of sticky lace. Subtle nose of grainy malts. Fruity flavors of apple and orange with a dusty grain note. Almost harsh pine and grass hop finish. Easy to drink with its medium body. Good session beer. Thanks to 123456green for the bottles.

Bright orange-gold color, smooth, quaffable. Some orange flavors come out towards the finish. Not too exciting.

Bottle. Amber beer with a decent head that quickly falls. Slight citrus aroma, but the taste is more a grassy/floral hop with an underlying caramel. Dry finish and easy to drink.

Clear copper. Musty aroma of cardboard-like malts, some pine hop smells and cedar chips. Palate is regular with a dry finish. Flavor tastes like a bottle, un-fresh, corn-like but with some good woody hop flavors.

Pours a light honey color with a respectable head that quickly disapates leaving a trace of a lace but not much more. Lots of carbonation at the begining. Smells citrusy and flowery. Tastes...okay. The hops don't overwhelm by a long shot. There's a mineral aftertaste that's nice. Citrus flavors are present. Nothing special at all. Mouthfeel is full and foamy. Drinkability is pretty good. Bottom line: Not a bad offering but nothing about this beer is really notable. I like the brewery and for that it's worth a try, but other than that you're not missing much.

Bottled at home. Boring, Boring. Tasted what it should a California APA. Nothing special. Oh did I say it was boring.

Ho-hum, then yuck. Nice aroma with citrus, perfume, bathroom air freshener, shampoo, and a bit of pine. The color and head were average--amber with some lacing. Strong citrus flavor, and the metallic edge in the finish was noticeable and very unsatisfying, but I started eating an Indian dish and it somehow worked effectively to cut it. Then later I had a sip with a cleaner palate, and gosh, the metallic end was hard to take. Overall, not up the standard set by the other Lagunitas beers.

Decent APA, with a nice amber colored pour. Hoppy but balanced. A little thin in the body, and had a metallic aftertaste that I didn't care for. Overall, a good example of the style that I would try again.
