This offering from Lagunitas disappoints just like the others. It does have a nice cloudy orange hue with a light tan cap and slight spotty lacing but has alot of sediment and I did not want to see that. The aroma is built on a large ammmount of malts and soft ’not-quite’ grapefruit candy hops amd a slight spice. The smell is appealing but something is off here and I cannot place my finger on what it is. The taste has nice soft citrus and spicy hops, candy, dirt?... Tasty enough but once agian not on the mark. Light to light medium bodied. Mouthfeel is soft and the aftertaste is solid. There are other options for pale ales out there....
