| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy golden with a healthy head. Apricot hopcit and some soap -- pretty straightforward. Bright acidity on the palate with a nice, light caramel finish. Tastes a bit complex with some richer earthy soapy components on the back of the tongue. Long and bitter finish. I’m surprised by this brew. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Fine example of a Pale Ale. Nice dry bitter finish. Too suble for Hop Heads but nice brew for Pale Ale consumers.
Nice head, decent lacing. Mild aroma, plenty of dry hop bitterness for the style. Well recommended. Piney, resinous. yespr (12411), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Definitely a thirstquencher and at first moment I would give it a note around 3.8, but the hot weather went cooler and I found it could be more complex and hoppy. But indeed one I’ll have in my house because of its high drinkability. CaptainCougar (5530), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Pours a transparent golden bronze with a large, frothy, well-lacing, cream-colored head. Has a fresh piny hoppy nose and some mild grainy pale malty undertones. Body starts less sweet and thinner than I expected with a touch of citrusy hops finishing semi-bitter and dry. While incredibly drinkable, I prefer an APA with a little more character.
