Dec 14, 2006 Bomber. Slightly hazy with a dull golden hue. Thick ring of bone white head. Fruity grapefruit nose. Slightly musty. Lively and full. Dry with a slight rubbery note. Lively and effervescent. Sweet sticky, long nice cloying finish. But dry and bitter. Nice grapefruity citrus flavor.

Dec 12, 2006 Bottle from Legers, Berkley; Nose of hops and citrus; hazy gold with a big white head that laces nicely; flavor nice and hoppy with lots of lemon and grapefruit, a little sweetness buffers the hop bitterness, but it lasts to the finish in the medium body.

Dec 12, 2006 Scores some points right away because i’m a zappa fan, and luckly I was able to have it on tap in San Francisco. Its very sweet, friuty and tasty; maybe a little to sweet. Very drinkable and in my opinion better than their regular IPA.

Dec 10, 2006 Bottle: Golden amber color with a large fluffy white head, good lacing overall. The nose is very hoppy with piney and citrus (especially) bits. There is a hops dominance in the taste, mosty citrus, grapefruit, pine, hints of floral, and a little sweetness. A fun and hoppy IPA

Dec 10, 2006 Bottle... Mostly clear golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Good retention. The nose is floral and earthy with pine, mild citrus and black pepper. Spicy, earthy flavor. Moderately bitter and grassy with biscuity malt. Medium-bodied with a dusty mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, grassy finish. Thanks to growler for splitting the bottle with me!

Dec 7, 2006 A decent IPA, with nothing particularly striking either good or bad. It looks nice, with a soapy, yet frothy head. It is nearly crystal clear with lightly straw colored body. The aroma is not that full, but pleasantly floral, with heather and hops. The flavor is bright, with lots of hops, sweet malts. It is well balanced. Lots of dry hops and citrus in the flavor. The finish is bitter and tart. Surprisinly, bitingly bitter, which I happen to like.

Dec 6, 2006 Pours with a golden-orange body, topped by a thin to medium thick head wtih some lacing. It’s bitter and hoppy wtih a grassy note, some grapefruit, and a hint of lemon, as well as, a touch of pine. A slight malty swetness developes in the background. Medium to full bodied, slightly oily and warming.
