Rich floral aroma layered atop lemon-peel and pine hops. This is not your typical Lagunitas brew; those trademark dark caramel malts are nowhere to be found, and the usual strongly resinous, oily, citric hops are replaced by a delicious lighter set of lovely fresh hop flavors. Mouthfeel is good, crisp enough and yet full enough to really hit the mark for the style.
This is my favorite Lagunitas beer; I hope it isn’t entirely sold out everywhere I go because I’d certainly like to pick up another couple of bottles.
Addendum: After trying Kill Ugly Radio, this is no longer my favorite from Lagunitas. But it is good nonetheless.... BBB63 (4267), La Porte, Indiana, USA

The aroma has notes of light pineapple and grapefruit, some pine and wood, light clove and pepper and a bready malt vapor. The taste starts fruity and mildly hoppy but balanced with a even handed pale malt and caramel base. The finish displays some pepper and astringent qualities. The overall beer is quite drinkable, not a super-hopped west coast IPA. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Murky, medium orange pour, fluffy white head. Fresh sprucey aroma with a hint of mint. Patented west coast hoppy, grapefruity flavor with an excellent malty balance of nectarines, maple syrup, mint and caramel. Thickish mouthfeel and the ABV is hidden well. Lagunitas comes trhough again - I like their style and fun attitude. Odeed (1677), Bakersfield, California, USA
