| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 21, 2006 Golden amber color. Smell of malt, hops, citrus, zest and blueberries. Tastes the same but more flavor with some rye in the background. A nice dry bitterness at the end. Delirium (502), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2006 Updated: Mar 23, 2008Bottle. Pours a clear yellow-orange with a reasonably large white head. Aroma is various hops, mostly floral, fruity, and a bit vegetal. Flavor has the same components, but halfway overshadowed by rather strong bitterness, although there is also some slightly sweet malt character and a mixture of other hop flavors. Finish is long and like grapefruit peel. Flavor doesn’t quite live up to the excellent aroma, but it’s pretty good on the whole. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2006 22oz. bomber. Clear golden/orange color with a good sized white head. Aroma of peaches, grapefruit, pine and a bit of caramel. Flavor of bitter grapefruit pith, caramel malt and wet grass. Aroma(and to a lesser degree the flavor) reminded me somewhat of their Imperial Red. Tried it on the recommendation of Lou18, who is known to generally dislike IPA’s. adrian910ss (1435), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 17, 2006 From a 22oz Bottle. Pours a golden, transparent amber color with a well sustaining layer of sudsy white head. Aroma is fresh and clean with a restrained layer of lemon zest and white pine hop characters. Medium bodied mouthfeel with a surprisingly soft carbonation. Rich, malty body relative to the light, fresh aroma. Some mild grapefruit zest flavors decorate a mildly spicy cookie dough body. This is a very nice beer overall, but nothing extraordinary. If it were a few point lighter, it would be the kind of beer I’d order regularly at a non-beer-geek restaurant or bar, but beyond that, its nothing special. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Pale color, orangish and yellowish hues with an average white head. Aroma of mostly citrus and maybe some floral hints. I though this was a pretty good ipa: it wa still malty and sweet, hoppy, little bitterness, and a good amount of alcohol. Solid beer, i didnt think it would be rated so low. pintocb (511), Darsville, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Some bready smells. A little funky smelling. Slight hops. An odd taste that I don’t like and can’t explain. Some kind of maltiness that doesn’t agree with me. I normally like IPA’s, but this one is mediocre.
