Sour lemon aroma with some cinnamon and other spices. Pretty hoppy. Color is a dark golden orange. Hmmm. Interesting flavor. Some bitterness but I am getting a big load of sweet/sour lemon again and some dry bitter peanut skin. Strange combination. Lingering, dry and bitter peanut skins. An ok IPA. I think that it is trying to be a IIPA but it just can’t quite get there. Not the best combination of flavors. Ok but would probably not buy again. Darkover (1317), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Being a Zappa fan and a beer lover I saw this and had to have it. Pours out a rather clear golden color with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine with some sweet malt. The mouthfeel is very nice. Flavors are complex with citric notes combines with pine and grapefruit. Finishes bitter. Very solid beer. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Bomber from my new friend Mark and liquoroutletwinecellars, Great Beer Guy! I must agree Duane; all pine to start, followed closely with citrus and juice grapefruit. Golden body, fluffy white head. My mouth is watering here folks. Nice, tart and juicy biter finish. Good malts and great balance. I am really enjoying this IPA, Medium mouth feel. And no hint of the %7.3 either. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 2, 2006 650ml brown bottle. Gold colour. White head is large, bubbly, frothy, leaving a lot of sticky lace. Great strong hop scent, orange, grapefruit and a lot of pine, malt in the background. Caramel malt sweetness in the start, then some fruit - softer orange and apricot notes and quite a bit of grapefruit in the middle. Long finish, bitter, resiny, grapefruity. Medium body, milldy carbonated. Hardly any sign of the 7.3%ABV. Great label design. Hope this continues to make it’s way into the Great White North in the future. Pale golden coloured with a massive white creamy head. Aroma is very fruity and tropical, with notes of mango, pineapple, and papayas over a lean pale malt base. Flavour is very hoppy but with only moderate bitterness. Wheaty spiciness plays off of the fruity/spicy hop flavour. Lingering spicy finish. Really tasty brew.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2006 Had to try this one due to the very unusual label. The aroma is quite unpleasant and the flavor does little to overcome it. Not terrible but not memorable.
