Solid aroma of sprucey hops with sweet fruity malts behind. Flavour has lots of grapefruit and resin, with a good sweet malt balance. Very well-made, well-balanced IPA.

Aroma of fruits, caramel, grass, hops and pine needles with candylike notes.
Flavour of hops and pine needles with candylike notes and notes of caramel and fruits.
Hoppy finish.

Oct 18, 2006 Bottle: Clear orange color with a fluffy white head. Really nice lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, some spice and a little grassy. Flavor, citrusy, some sweet malts, but they aren’t all that prevailant. Crisp dry finish, medium bodied. Very solid IPA.

Oct 18, 2006 22 oz. bottle via trade with KAME - Pours a clear amber color with a nice size off white head. Light thick lacing. Well carbonated. Has a light citrus aroma. Has a lightly sweet caramel malt and citrus hop flavor. A smooth, medium body beer. A good, easy drinking IPA.

Oct 17, 2006 Bottle (650ml). Shared with biegaman, blankboy, GregClow and tupalev, my bottle. Very slightly hazy brass-gold with a decent white head. Sweet resiny/citrus/spruce hop aroma, good balance with malt. Taste is pungent, slightly boozy, resiny hoppy, a little big but enjoyable. Solid body, nicely astringent - just another good solid laguintas IPA.

Oct 17, 2006 Color is golden with a very slight haze. Foamy and lasting ivory head. Laces nicely. Aroma is pine hops. Flavor is pine and grapefruit hops, some honey malt. The finish tastes the way pine sap smells and it pretty pronounced and unique. The bitterness is quite smooth and pleasing. The alcohol is fairly well hidden. Medium body and very easy to drink. A very solid IPA, but lacking in richness and depth.
