Cloudy golden color; thin creamy head. Nice hoppy aroma, soft, with vanilla and light spices. Medium body strength, with a nice vanilla hop, creamy malt, long final, with light cookies too. Good, sweetish hoppy beer.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of kramer17801. Pours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Lightly citrusy nose with a touch of overripe fruit. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel and overripe fruit with some bitterness. Not your typical IPA - more like a Barley Wine light. 301107

Comments: A straightforward, classic Californian IPA that wins a few points for its crispiness.

22 oz bottle at Logan’s Pre-GABF party. Lots of citrus hops and some grassiness on the aromas. Flavors were not quite as nice. I should have just smelled it all night. More citrus, but then a bitterness that wasn’t the expected hop bitterness. Still not bad.

Sweet grapefruit and pine hops aroma. Smells sticky. Pours orange gold with a minimal soapy white head. Strong hop bitterness balanced by a little sweet malt that makes the flavor similar to a grapefruit juice. Dry piney hops linger on the backend with a little bit of sweetness that tries to get through the hop attack. The hop attack almost has a gritty chewy mouthfeel. I like this stuff more than its 3.66 rating. A big ass West Coast IPA.
