LOTS of vanilla to the point of being cloying. VERY sweet on the palate with with mild bitterness and an almost nutrasweet like character. Cloying finish.

Draft at Strong Ale Fest Carlsbad. A mildy hoppey wine with a syrupy body and nose of oak, bourbon and vanilla. It has a sweet but bitter finish and a strong alcohol burn.

Draft at the Bistro’s First Barrel-Aged BeerFest 11/11/06; Nose of hops, oak, and much to their chagrin, vanilla!;Hazy amber with a small white head;; flavor of hops and oakiness in the medium body; leading into a nice hop finish!
