I might be imagining the green because the hop aroma is so powerful that it makes me think I’m looking into a brew kettle that just got its first dose of hops. The aroma is a very strong resinous pine and slight citrus. The mouthfeel and flavor are a little on the syrupy side. The hops are heavy and the they overpower the slight cherry grape malt . But the hops are good if a little too far forward. There is more perceived alcohol than is really there. It is a delicious beer that reminds me of Stone Double Bastard. I couldn’t finish off the 6 in one night. GuilTTy (538), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA

Sweet caramel and toasted malt aroma. Mildly malty flavor dominated by caramel and toffee with a restrained piney hop profile. Somewhat thin mouthfeel and a medium dry but lingering finish. A good beer but a stronger hop presence would be welcome. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA

Yes, "hoppy sweet nerve sack." That and it’s pretty malty and sweet. It has a grapefruit and caramel flavor; pine essence. It’s full. Yeaup. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden

Deep red in color with a dense light brown head. Loads of sweet grainy malt aromas along with soaked bread and as in every other Lagunital i’ve had, lots of flowery hops. Sweet caramel and nutty flavor again with plenty of bitterhops. Great!
