NayTron (31), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Nov 7, 2009 Pours with almost no head. Smells of hops and flowers. Taste very light bodied with a pleasant hops bitter. Not a real robust IPA but good. Pwn3d (1040), Manhattan, New York, USA Oct 27, 2009 On tap at rattle n hum. Candi sugar and citrus hop aroma. Taste is tart, sugary, and grapefruit bitterness. A solid medium body, somewhat creamy. Slightly better than I expected. dwaggs2 (532), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Oct 27, 2009 Bottle. Poured a paler yellow orangish color with no real head. Aroma was pine, floral hops, spruce, and citrus. Flavor medium bitterness, floral hops and grass. medium body, sticky, average carbonation, bitter, long finish. Very good beer. petematte46 (212), Dallas, Texas, USA Oct 25, 2009 Amber with a nice hoppy aroma. Flavour has some decent malty flavours with a medium bitterness and hopping. The first bit didn’t seem that hoppy but it built up after a while. acearl (207), J-Town, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 25, 2009 Resisted trying for a while because lacked endorsement and I agree with the underwhelming review, pumpkin color with creamy light tan head, decent lacing, smells of malt and hops, thin and weak texture, a little bitterness with faint citrus, not to complex. Overall to light and thin with lack of flavor I like in an IPA. SweetT (2), Florida, USA does not count Oct 24, 2009 Very good IPA and nice balance of hops. Pours a nice orange color. The aroma is standard IPA like: Pine. Taste is very nice with a slight bitterness. alagnak (300), Littleton, Colorado, USA Oct 24, 2009 Nose is slightly dank fruit with some peanut shell and orange rind. Really nice nose for a "standard" IPA. Taste is more of the nose, with the dank, resinous hops in the foreground and a nice transition to a slight tartness and a clean finish. Just enough bitter caramel sweet malt to wrap around. Solid IPA. Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Oct 21, 2009 Had on tap at the Fort Worth Gingerman. Pretty orange pour. Very fruity hop aroma. Taste has a lot of hops with a hint of clove and rotten fruit. Mouthfeel is sticky and unpleasant.
