Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Bottle thanks to roborb!
Shimmering transparent copper-amber, small, frothy beige head. Nose is very sweet, loads of caramel, burnt pb cookies, and minor tea and leafy hop. Flavor is similar but there’s more nuance, some bitterness from the hop emerging with minor grapefruit citrus. Moderate body with juicy mouth, a little salty, lingering bitterness in the finish. Overall the hops lose here, but if you don’t believe in style-points, then this is a sweet and juicy beer, very drinkable.

Pours a golden brown color with a bit of a haze, and very little head. Pretty basic IPA, but always enjoy drinking this none the less.

Flaske. Flot mørke orange IPA. Lækker duft af humle og den umiskendelige Lagunitas terroir. Virkelig solid maltbase til at bakke humlen op med. Frisk og lækker øl. Ville elske den helt frisk.

[Bottle] Pours deep amber with a small off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma--pineapple, mandarin orange, lemon zest and green tea (a lot of this) mainly at first; a little caramel too. As it warmed, it really reminded me of lemon iced tea. Somewhat subdued bitterness in the taste (compared to what I was expecting). Still decent, though, just not the palate blowing experience I had expected. Farily citrusy up front, then becomes qutie malty with the green tea showing through quite a bit as well. OK mouthfeel with a slightly above average length finish. Didn’t overly impress--bigger green tea profile than I’m used to and not as bitter as I had thought that it would be.

12 oz. bottle. Initial hop nose gives way to sweet malt aroma. Taste is light and has some hop presence that is overpowered by the malt as the beer goes down. Pale gold/yellow color with a head that you wont see to the end. Very easy to drink and has low Abv for an IPA, making it seem more like a pale ale in my mind.

12 oz. bottle at Union Jack, Arlington VA. Overall a run of the mill, but decent craft-brewed IPA. Good bitter IPA punch like Smuttynose. Body is thin, however. Would like more fullness.

12oz bottle. $2.10 Julio’s Liquors. Very hoppy and citrusy. A good but not great IPA.
