kassner (429), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 16, 2008 On tap at Mgoos. Amber, very slightly cloudy with nice floral hops odor and good mix of floral and dry hops, just a little thin, but nice clean finish blklab2007 (938), Connecticut, USA Sep 14, 2008 bottle poured a light amber color with a two finger white head that fell slowly. aroma has piney hops, lighter citrus, and mild caramel malt. mouth feel is on the lighter side with medium high carbonation. resinous piney citrus hop leads into a thinly malted brew. somewhat thin for such a hopped beer but lending nice flavors. bitterness smacks it down and perfumey. Vas19 (293), Maryland, USA Sep 11, 2008 Pours orange with an off white head. Nice citrusy hop aroma. Flavor is more of the same; nice and clean. Lacking a bit of body, and a bit of secondary flavor, but still tasty and enjoyable. caesar (3020), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Sep 9, 2008 Bottled. Clear orange golden color, short head. Aroma of some hop and grapefruit, hint of caramel. Bit fruity as well. Taste is only moderately bitter, firm malty body. Crisp. Nice IPA. bradlyc77 (226), Sebastopol, California, USA Sep 8, 2008 Updated: Sep 28, 2008I’m not a fan of super hoppy beers and tend to shy away from IPA’s, but this is a great beer. This is pleasant drinkable IPA. NaturalIce (115), originally from Michigan, New York, USA Sep 8, 2008 12 oz bottle - Nothing better than the smell of a solid IPA. Lagunitas is a very good brewing company and considering I can find it all the way on the opposite coast of the US says alot about it. Ranks right up there with the Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale I just drank although not nearly as bitter. Good IPA JoeZasada (133), Beaumont, Alberta, Canada Sep 7, 2008 Pours a red amber colour... medium white head... good malt flavour, with an outstanding strong balance of hops... definitely one of the best american IPA beers you will ever have.... DocHop (278), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Sep 7, 2008 Pours a crisp, clear amber with a medium off-white head. Wonderfully sweet aroma of hops, orange, caramel malts. The initial sweetness is fantastic, but the hop finish is just off. the bitterness isn’t really there and and the taste falls off into something a little bland. But the body is smooth and the caramel malts shine through.
