Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

This is a huge hop beer. Almost over the top. The nose seems to be mostly Cascades with some other hops rounding it out. The flavor is big hoppy, but there is some maltiness to help balance it out. I’m not sure if I could drink more than one of these at a time due to the hoppiness.

Bottle. Pours copper orange with a beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel and apricot, as well as grass and pine. Flavor is also sweet with grapefruit, caramel, and grass. Finish is long and bitter.

Small disappearing head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Nice flavor. More mild then what I was expecting. Hop bite lingers a bit on the tongue. Balanced with caramel and malt. Good brew. Very drinkable.

Huge head. This is quite a fruity IPA, from the aroma of citrus and berries, to the strawberry color, to the abundant flavors of strawberries, cherries - quite unique and odd to the style - moderate hops and a strong, biscuit-like malt backbone for the fruit flavors to play off of

(Bottle, Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 26 July 2008) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, orange and toasted grain. Malty, fruity taste with grain, caramel, orange and citrussy hops in a balanced finish. Nicely balanced IPA. Good beer.

On tap everywhere--An old standby--Poured a copper amber body with a medium white head. Dank, citrus hops and a hardly malty spine. Well-built brew.

Overall a VERY good IPA. I can’t believe I never rated this. Copper with white head, but this is the perfect half-way mark between the dank, skunky IPA’s that are Blind Pig and Maximus, and the light, refreshing IPA’s that are Anderson Valley and Two Hearted. It also has that bright yeast flavor that adds to the IPA if done right.

Aroma is very strong of hops and florals. Taste is very hoppy but it has a smooth finish that makes the beer. Great IPA, a little better than the double (wish there was a hundreth space) but maybe i just see it being more sessionable.
