More mild then what I was expecting. Hop bite lingers a bit on the tongue. Balanced with caramel and malt. Good brew. Very drinkable. hiphop (84), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2008 Huge head. This is quite a fruity IPA, from the aroma of citrus and berries, to the strawberry color, to the abundant flavors of strawberries, cherries - quite unique and odd to the style - moderate hops and a strong, biscuit-like malt backbone for the fruit flavors to play off of Svesse (2612), Hässelby, Sweden

Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, orange and toasted grain. Malty, fruity taste with grain, caramel, orange and citrussy hops in a balanced finish. Nicely balanced IPA. Good beer. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Overall a VERY good IPA. I can’t believe I never rated this. Copper with white head, but this is the perfect half-way mark between the dank, skunky IPA’s that are Blind Pig and Maximus, and the light, refreshing IPA’s that are Anderson Valley and Two Hearted. It also has that bright yeast flavor that adds to the IPA if done right. gsmitty80 (638), Washington DC, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jul 31, 2008 Aroma is very strong of hops and florals. Taste is very hoppy but it has a smooth finish that makes the beer. Great IPA, a little better than the double (wish there was a hundreth space) but maybe i just see it being more sessionable. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 31, 2008 This here might be the most drinkable IPA I’ve ever had. Honey-amber in color, with a scent mostly of honey, with hints of malted grain and leafy, floral hops. Flavor is very dry, bitter and grassy, yet with touches of bread, and strangely enough, peas. That’s right. Peas. Gnarly. PolakPorter (82), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Good IPA. Not great but good. There is nothing to dislike about this beer. There is a faint aroma of hops. The taste was similar. I found the flavor to be somewhat lacking. It is incredibly smooth and easy to drink. Knocking back a sixer would not be much of a challenge. If it’s available for a good price try it, if not, there are better IPAs for the money.
