| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Aroma is a strong citrus hop scent. Color is a bright golden with good carbonation and a nice head. Taste is juicy and bitter. Starting with a medium body it goes down with what I can only describe as a juicy feel. Finish starts with a sweet malt taste that turns quickly to a citrus, little lemon and a bitter bite. In the aftertaste the citrus brightens for a moment then fads leaving you with a mild bitterness. This is a fabulous IPA, its well balanced. Nicely bitter with a good malt tone and they keep the citrus in line. johnnysmoke (54), Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Pours dark amber with a large head. Fresh citrus and hops are the predominate aroma. Nice amount of hops, for an IPA. Not too dominate but, a significant part of the flavor profile. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Pours a pretty nice copper color with a white head with pretty nice retention. Smell is of caramel and sticky pine sap, floralness as it warms. Pine sap taste in the beginning, a little bit of biscuit in there as well. Hops are definately the lead role, piney, resinous, some citrus too. High carbonation, medium bodied. This is not the best IPA I’ve had, but it’s a damn solid one, of which I could see myself drinking plenty of. ericandersnavy (1051), crossroads, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 3, 2008 12 oz bottle. pours clear light burnt orage with a white head. Aoma is hops pine and a little citrus and malt. Flavor is light on the complexity side. Basically hops, citrus, caramel and some pine. Mouthfeel is a bit on the watery side. Bit disapointing from a brewery that usually produces solid brews. thenick (744), North Bellmore, New York, USA

Aroma is heavy pine hops with slight fruity hops at the end of the nose. Taste is pine needle up front, with citrus hops and a slight malty finish. A very solid IPA, on the whole. jsh12bama (335), Alabama, USA

Great IPA. Nice golden color - great hoppy taste to this. Have had a few better IPAs, and a lot worse. Definitely worth a try.
