Medium body, average carbonation... and a good bitter finish. Just wish those hops came through more. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2008 A mild yet tasty offering. It’s not too overwhelming that a rookie IPA drinker couldn’t handle it. Mostly sweet, with a finishing bitterness that balances everything out. Orange in color, a thin white head. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, yellow-orange body with a full, foamy, white head.
Smell: Pale maltiness along with notes of spice, pine, and ruby red grapefruit.
Taste: Lightly sweet pale malts with a hint of spent grain. Spicy, piney, citrusy hop flavors. Medium bitterness. A final taste of caramel. Finishes with a light bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Just barely medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A fine little American IPA, it delivers pretty much what you’d expect from it. Skeegle (485), Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Very good IPA that seems to have both floral and pine and citrus hops to it. It is bitter enough to be an IPA but not enough to be a particulaly brutal one. Very smooth like a good bitter. Pretty simple actually, but very good none the less. nick76 (2647), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 3, 2008 The aroma is malty with caramel and pine/citrus hops. The appearance is amber with a good head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. I really like this one. Palidor19 (1764), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2008 decent, the malts are nice but the hops kinda fall flat which is what they wanted to go on. still its some malts character with caramel flavor. enjoyable. purduebacchus (39), USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Pour is amber, piney aroma that is the high point of this beer, after the first sip the beer becomes an amber ale, sweet and malty with a light hop flavor. relatively heavy mouthfeel IlanMan (817), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Pour is medium golden with long lasting white fluffy head. Aroma is of fresh crisp hops and some pine. Flavor is up front hoppy with some malt aftertaste. I’m guessing that with all of the different hops and malts used in this, it must have been made with all of the extra ingredients from the brewery. I can’t see a reason to add that many ingredients to a beer. There is no possible way for someone to distinguish each flavor in the beer. It is actually a physical impossibility because our tongue is not that sensitive. Still a good beer. May buy again.
