Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

65 malts and 43 hops? Is that a record, or a joke? Malt-floral aroma. Amber brew. Solid, grapefruity hops. Bracing and forceful, but not harsh. Good.

A decent IPA. The aroma is really grassy even for an IPA. Overall I enjoyed it, but it didn’t have the fully rounded taste that other IPAs like Stone’s has. A pretty plain, average IPA. I’ll probably stick to Stone and Dogfish Head.

Clear light amber body with a short lived tan head. Not a pronounced aroma but a nice one. It is full of hop with pine and floral notes along with some caramel malt. A big tart hop bite nips the back of the throat at first sip but that quickly fades to a dry bitterness. Grapefruit, grass and floral flavors. 108 varieties of hop and malt?! A good IPA but not quite exceptional.

Lagunitas ipa is opaque amber in color and when poured into a shaker, yeilds a thick foamy head. It has scents of pine and citrus that entice your tongue. Once you finally taste it you find that the hops have a nice bitterness to them which continue to follow into the aftertaste. I am still new to reviewing beers but i found this to be one of the best ipa’s i have tried so far.

Aggressive pour left a three-finger head above an orange/amber body with lots of rising carbonation. Moderate pine and citrus - grapefruit - hops aromas, but not overpowering. Hops flavors are strong, but immediately countered by a light maltiness. Hops bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, less carbonation than expected.

Bottle. Light amber coloured with a nice lasting white head. Aromas of pine, grapefruit and some sweet malt. Flavour of bitter hops, caramel and more hops.

Orange-blonde with a medium bubbly head. Has lots of classic IPA smell, citron, hops, and hops. Flavor is a bit on the bitter side, and I can’t taste the fruit as well as I would like. Flavors of cardamom and nutmeg as well as hops. A bit fizzy, which gets in the way of the flavor. It’s not bad, all things considered. Smells better than it tastes.
