Aroma is slightly peachy with a bit of grapefruit. Not incredibly bitter but still plenty hoppy. Fruity. Peach and Grapefruit. Creamy mouthfeel. Good. Easy as shit to drink. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 3, 2008 Had on tap at the "Hops On Equinox" in Seattle ’06 and in bottles in Portland, OR and Oakland, CA.
Best on tap, and one of the best brews/IPA’s available @ HOE in Seattle. In the end, I kept going back for more. Very HOPPY, fruity, aromatic, kicky, etc. In bottles, however, it dropped a notch, but that’s expected. Overall, a very satisfying IPA. Oregon-worthy beer, brewed in or near Petaluma, CA. roebuck (44), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2008 Decent IPA. Pretty much what you’d expect. Had a great hoppy nose to it. On the palate the hops dies down slightly, but still enough to leave your mouth a bit dry. Reminded me somewhat of the Rogue Juniper Pale Ale. Good for drinking a few on the porch in summer. tgncc (809), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 2, 2008 This is a style I’ve come to appreciate a lot more. The aroma is very hoppy, specifically citrusy hops. Some pitch pine odors mixed in. The flavor is very hoppy, and has strong notes of grapefruit. Very refreshing. Thin mouthfeel, and a citrus/hoppy palate that fades relatively quickly.Good overall. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 2, 2008 Ho hum. Poured a copperish color with big head lots of noticiable yeasts in there. Aroma was very yeasty and light pine/citrus hops. Flavor was much hoppier then the aroma lots of grapefruit and yeast, just an average IPA. Suttree (2708), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 28, 2008 Coppery orange, small white head. Great aroma - resin, pine, sticky hops. Flavor is, as one might guess, dominated by hops - resiny and sticky, but also nice notes of grapefruit and, uh, more grapefruit? Really hop dominated, and I really liked it. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Updated: Nov 29, 2008Had on tap at McCray’s. Poured to a yellowish gold color, unlike the orange copper I was expecting. The anticipated citrusy nose and flavor were there, but slightly muted, as was the bitterness of the mouthfeel. This all led to a medium length, slightly bitter flavor which was nice and smooth. Not a bad beer at all, but still below other Lagunitas offerings.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Nice straightforward IPA. Rich hop flavor and aroma. I like their Maximus IPA a little more, but I suppose that’s neither here nor there--good beer!
