| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 23, 2008 12 oz bottle. A slight unclear deep golden colored beer with a fully diminishing near-white head. Fresh fruity and hoppy aroma; sweet grapefruit, tangerines and tropical. Grassy, light piney hops. Notes of peppermint and sweet nutty malts.Taste is not that complex, but has fine distinct bitterness and leaves some likeable flavors of citrus and refined malts. Lasting fruity-bitter finish. Loveable.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 21, 2008 Aroma: smells marvellous, pine, fresh as hell, lovely. Raspberry, pineapple, sweet malt. Dominated by fresh sourish superpiny exotic hops.
Flavour: nice, sourish, fruity, malty backbone. Pleasant hopbitterness, brackish.
Appearance: nice, clear orange body with fluffy & lathery white head.
Palate: harsh, acrid but smooth. Seems alkalic. Brix (371), Denmark

Aroma is mild citrus, some earthy/grassy notes, and tea. The body is thinner than I’d like, almost zero astringency, some decent finishing bitterness. Flavors of iced tea with lemon, mildly grassy/pithy hops, lightly solvent. Compared to the other CA IPA standards like Stone, Pelican, Bear Repub, Alpine, Sierra nevada, and on and on and on , this one doesn’t hold a candle. Meh, I’m probably overrating. bag (103), Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 13, 2008 From bottle... poured clear gold. Disappointingly weak aroma. Light citrus flavor to start. Slightly bitter. Finishes dry. This was decent, but I was hoping for much more. Goodgrief (1148), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Beer pours copper color with a dense suspension of tiny yeasties throughout (I thought they were bubbles as first). Weak aroma of malt. Flavor was very hoppy with grapefruit, some earthy/herbal notes and peppery flavors. Not really much in the malt department even after it warmed...very faint caramel. I was pretty unimpressed.
