Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Excellent true to character IPA. Slightly orange head, cloudy orange golden color. Smells of orange of pine. The 43 hops make this one incredibly rich. Tastes like a traditional IPA. Cheers!

Pours a clear, bright gold with a rocky off-white head. Aroma of mild citrusy hops. Flavor is rich but rather mild, with a thick, doughy malt bill offset by grapefruit, pine and peppery hops. Neither side of the equation dominates; this is a superbly drinkable, well-balanced beer, even if it is weak by the American IPA standard.

When I saw the rating, I was shocked. This is rated rather low, but I enjoyed these. Although the aroma was very weak, I thought that this was an excellent IPA, High in drinkability, and the hops were very apparent but not overbearing. Hmm.... Oh well I liked this and will drink it again, and again, and then maybe again.

~Pours a see through reddish orange colour with small head. ~ Nice bitter hop scent. Floral with some sweet notes. ~ Smooth bitter taste. small bite. ~Abrupt bitter finish. ~ Enjoyable IPA, seems a bit watered down. I look forward to a long lasting bitterness from an IPA and this seems to be lacking. Still very enjoyable.

Bottle pours a bright copper/light orange with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, doughy yeast and faint sweet malty note. Flavor has a moderate bitter opening followed by a nice balance of clean malt flavors and bright citrus hoppyness. Finishes slightly dry with a bit of lemon peel. Moderate carbonation and light, but not watery, mouthfeel. A nice and tasty brew on the lighter side of the typical IPA.

** update rate ** anothe rbottle revealed the peachy tones and quite intereesting if subtle hop profile. Kinda fat but good. Uprate ** Surprisingly ordinary IPA for a West Coast legend. But good. Thin pour and light copper-orange hue, moderate fine head. Lots of hop bitter finish that is a bit one-dimensional, perhaps owing to hops shortage I mused? Good malt body. Citrusy flavors were good, I knocked this back in about five minutes at BeerBistro (at the cost of $2.00 / minute!!)

a very good IPA. Pours out a coppery color with a small beige head. aroma was full of hops and grassy with a bit of sweetness to it. Flavor was very refreshing. It wasnt over the top with hops and had a nice lasting flavor to it. over all a very nice brew.
