BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Nov 18, 2007 Not a bad brew. Caramel, hops, and some fizzy wizzy. Honey coloured pour with a hint of rusty pipes. Some smooth malt hints, but mainly flat pine. Not supper hoppy though, so that was rather a sad note. But enjoyably sessionable. BigBeer45 (676), Troy, Michigan, USA Nov 16, 2007 12 oz. Bottle, pours a honey copper gold with some red at the edges, has a lot of little specks in it otherwise it is clear, a white head,
pine with some floral fragrances and malty sweetness, faint vanilla aroma, sip starts with malt sweetness and
hop citrus grapefruit mixed with some pine needles, sweetness is nutrilized and finishes with a pine bitterness, mouth feel is a little thin,
this was an ok IPA, nothing real exciting. redlight (1445), Winter Park, Florida, USA Nov 15, 2007 Sweet pine resin on the nose, with hints of citrus. Pours pale gold with little to no head. Sweet upfront, but wow the hops kick in, good piney flavors with grapefruit and bitter orange peel in the flavor. A good session IPA, i like this one. mcbackus (725), Merritt Island, Florida, USA Nov 14, 2007 bottle: pours a clear filtered apple juice with a medium white head. aroma is a citrus hops and some earthy hops also very little malt if any. flavour actually starts a little watery and weak then into the citrus hopsa and some sweet malt in the back. just a small amount of bitter in the finish a very subtlle ipa not strong in anything but goes down very very easy. chadje (129), Pasadena, California, USA Nov 13, 2007 Updated: Jul 31, 2008Pours a nice orangish color. A nice hoppy scent and taste. A pretty good IPA. Allthatisevil (48), alabaster, Alabama, USA Nov 11, 2007 Nice balance of malt and hops with a light citrus finish. The colour is a orangish cooper. The smell is citrus, pine, and hops. The aftertaste stays with you in a good way. sirpsycho (342), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 10, 2007 Bottle. Very little in the way of aroma. Flavor was very muted hops and malt. I’m thinking I drank this one past it’s prime, will have to try a fresh one. JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA Nov 2, 2007 Forms a slightly thin head with little retention. It did form nice lacing and good aromas full of pine, citrus, and a slight biscuit smell. It had a nice malty taste, bread dough, biscuit, caramel, and a lot of other hints of flavors that were hard to distinguish. The hops are a bit misleading, as its hard to determine the exact resinous flavors that they come with...its not quite bitter enough, but its still tasty and complex
