Gachupines (290), USA Nov 1, 2007 Amber color with a decent white head. Aroma is mainly hops and citrus. Flavor is the same as the aroma. A little watery in the mouthfeel. Overall, an above average IPA but there are much better ones out there. exadore (92), Sacramento, California, USA Nov 1, 2007 Bottle. Poured with a finger and a half head. Watery brown color, tastes hoppy with a citrus flavor, but bitter metallic finish. Well carbonated. I personally do not care for the aftertaste, but it’s a decent IPA. Dedollewaitor (3625), Odense, Denmark Oct 31, 2007 Slight unclear copper/orange with a decent head & good lacings. Aroma is of hops - piney & bitter. Medium bodied with a average live carbonation. Fresh & mainly bitter taste from hops. Not as sweet as ex. maximus from same brewery. Good & solid IPA with a lovely bitterness! uhclem (188), Loveland, Colorado, USA Oct 30, 2007 Pours a light copper with a head average in color and durability. Aroma was mildly fruity. Flavor was satisfyingly hoppy. In addition, this IPA let you know there is a solid base to it - it doesn’t just rely on the hops as many IPA’s do. The label boasts that the hops and the malt battle in your palate; I would rather think of it as a concert, not a battle. Mouthfeel was a little on the thin side, but this ale still established a decent presence, fortified with a long-lasting pleasant aftertaste. Blom (390), Odense, Denmark Oct 29, 2007 Orange with a diminishing head. Nice aroma of citrus and caramel. The flavour is somewhat salty and grap like with a hint of caramel and hay. The finish is dry and metallic. cab (861), Denmark Oct 29, 2007 Bottle. Fine Ipa, with the hop´s on the top, fine faint malty flavor, hazy golden color. A ipa with out the heavy sweetness. clingman71 (239), Centerville, Ohio, USA Oct 26, 2007 Updated: Feb 25, 2008Bottle. Pours a clear amber. When fresh this beer has a nice hop aroma, but I have noticed that this varies greatly with age. Pretty good flavor balance, just enough malt to carry the hops. Pretty common West Coast American IPA here. I like the style so I like the beer, but there are many out there that are better. polomagnifico (532), Saginaw, Michigan, USA Oct 26, 2007 Aroma is of flowery hops. Clear amber hue with an off-white head. Flavor is watery, weak and finishes dry. Palate is watery soft. Much too weak in every category.
