Lagunitas India Pale Ale

12oz bottle. Pours clear amber color with foamy off white head. Aroma of floral hops. Taste of grapefruit and with bitter after taste.

Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Clear, amber color with sudsy, white head. Piney, grapefruit aroma. Dry mouthfeel. Flavor is pretty much bitter hops all the way with just a hint of caramel malt showing through. This beer is very hoppy as any good IPA should be, but it lacks complexity. Still, pretty good overall.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Pours bright pale copper with lasting flat white head. Mild aroma of fresh hops. Well balanced flavor starts malty, with some fruitiness, and finishes dry and clean with hoppy bitterness and without much bite. The focus is on balance here. Nice.

Copper with smaller head. Piney, floral hop aroma with touches of barnyard grass and a quiet malt scent. There was a nice taste of hops, with a floral spice, cirtus touch and lightly roasted malts, woody and grassy flavors. Decent, but not outstanding. Typical IPA

A decent IPA. Aroma and Appearance are typical of an IPA. Palate is medium; maybe a tad watery. Overall very sessionable.

Beautiful orange/amber pour with a nice thin white head. Aroma isn’t much to write home about--some citrus hops, but faint. Flavor is exceptionally smooth, balanced, and mild. I was expecting more pronounced hops throughout. Malt is nice--but very simple. Finish is not as bitter as most IPAs. Overall, quite drinkable and smooth, but not an IPA exemplar.

Bottle. Pours a light amber color with a thin soapy head. Mild grapefruit hop aroma. Palate not very lively. Decent grapefruit hop kick to start with a little tingling hop finish. The hop character overall could be cleaner, but not a bad brew at all.

Fairly typical but good IPA. fruit and hops aroma. roasted malt taste. long dry bitter finish. K - 5.5
