raphael (411), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 20, 2007 .bomber. smells a little skunky, and like toast. pale amber body with big bubbled white head that fades with lacing. feels a little vague ni the mouth & leves the tongue dry. flavors of pine and citrus (wonder if the bottle i got is a littel old, as its been cleaner from the tap) Brewosk (137), Illinois, USA Jul 20, 2007 From a bottle at Old Chicago. A very solid iPA with penty of hops, good bitterness and malt flavor. A nice mix of fruitines and pine flavors. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA Jul 19, 2007 Pretty solid IPA. Not too hoppy, but still a fine brew. Lagunitas...is really growing on my as a great all-around brewer. fraternie (709), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 19, 2007 Full nose of citrus fruit and caramel malts. Lightly sweet body with caramel notes evolving into light grapefruit and light hops. Not overwhelming, but the finish thins out a bit. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 19, 2007 don’t know how or why i’ve avoided this for so long. lots of citrus aroma and a good amount of caramel maltiness. flavor is very reminiscent of indica ipa. surprising sweetness but a healthy grapefruit hoppiness. not the most bitter ipa, but propably one of the most tasty. I kind of like the fact that it’s not a near 7% abv ipa. JCB (1716), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jul 16, 2007 I might be tempted to give this beer somewhat higher marks if I wasn’t so convinced that it’s basically a SNPA clone. While the hop profile is a bit different, of course, there’s a real similarity in the breadiness. I like the tart, dry qualities somewhat but there’s just not enough that’s distinctive about this one. eyesandsmiles (179), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jul 16, 2007 Enjoyed at AT@T park as a matter of fact. That stand behind home plate. 7$. Of course thats a rip off. I know. It was good though. A little more characteristic than your standard. ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Jul 14, 2007 Updated: Sep 23, 2007Light amber beer with a nice frothy off-white head. Lemon and herbal hop aroma, actually a hint of lemon tea for a moment. Some orange and peach lingers in the background. Malty flavour with a bunch of bitterness coming very quickly, and again that strange tea-note.
