These guys make a really tasty IPA, comes at a decent price too. Solid and enjoyable example of the style. monkeychugg55 (214), Joliet, Illinois, USA Jul 6, 2009 Pours a clear copper with a tiny white head that dies rather quick. The aroma is a mad mix of hops... citric tropical fruit, earthyness, floral, herbal, and slight pine. The flavor is similar, but with a ton of very sweet malt that doesn’t blend well. The sugars seem distant and, although there is a thick oily mouthfeel, seem thin and unraveled. Perhaps I got an old / bad bottle. I’ll probably re-rate. Some carbonation. Hop and fruit aromas. Amber coloured strong in alvohol hoppy and fruity pine flavour with a crisp and slightly bitter dry finish. leems (147), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 2, 2009 12oz bottles, wonderful full hoppy aroma, nice bitterness initially and a little malt body. Very good beer that I can drink a lot of. kiefdog (1567), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 2, 2009 On tap at Jans Wine and Boos #2 (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy amber copper color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, pine, grapefruit, tangelos, apricots, hint of spice. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of malt, citrus, caramel, pine, hints of grapefruit and floral hops. Generally medium body with a pleasing floral hop finish. springcreekale (10), Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA Jun 30, 2009 Stong hoppy aroma, like some early bitter hops. Very fragrant- great color- overall- one of the better IPA’s I have had- mgermani (862), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jun 24, 2009 Pours a brilliant orange-gold, with a lovely but short-loved head and nice lacing. Aroma is biscuity and lightly perfumey. Taste is surprisingly restrained; not as hoppy as o had expected, but still quite pleasant and balanced. Good carb, lightly creamy body. A nice light treat! Hopper (277), San Antonio, Texas, USA Jun 24, 2009 Aroma is of sweet malt. Taste is of sweet malt. If I didn’t see the label I would have thought this is a weak pale ale. Maybe there was something wrong with my bottle but I could barely taste the hops
