Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

The color is a clear medium copper. Not a whole lot of head. There's a low, herbal hop aroma. It's sweet and malty with only medium bitterness. Nicely balanced but surprisingly reserved for the style.

Bottle: Poured a clear orangey color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and lacing. Aroma of metallic hops with some caramel malt. Taste is a mix between sweet malt with some metallic hops and a bitter finish. Body is about average. Overall, this is an OK IPA but far from being great and lacking balance between malt and hops.

ON tap at Lagunitas. Slightly hazy deep yellow with no head. Grapefruit aroma with hints of pine. Bright palate. Citrus and pine taste with a hint of bitterness to the finish.

[Tap – Blooms & Brews, Silverton Oregon]
(Oregon Craft Brewfest at The Oregon Garden) Poured deep copper color with a frothy, creamy white head. Aroma was like a pine tree. Flavor was also piney with grapefruit. The hop flavors were very present in the brew. Slight bitterness comes through in the end. Medium bodied. Very smooth and drinkable. Very well balanced. This is a nice IPA.

Clear orange-amber color with a small off-white head that recedes to a speckled, thin film. Spotty lacing. Moderate carbonation is apparent. The aroma is a very nice blend of citrus and herbal hops. Orange, grapefruit, and fresh cut grass come together well in the nose. The flavor has a toffee malt base, with a fresh and crisp grassy hop kick. There is also a little bit of a buttery flavor in the background, which is nice. This beer is very smooth and drinkable, but the hops let you know that they are there. Medium bodied with a that has just a hint of stickiness to it. Very good session IPA.

Opaque burnt orange color. Nice up front hoppy taste w/ a clean finish. Not much aroma.
