Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Pleasant but subdued hoppy aroma, resinous and earthy, with tinges of cedar, pine, herbs, citrus fruit and a small amount of faintly grainy, sweet maltiness. Light-medium copper color, tiny suspended particles throughout, with a finely beaded head. Flavor profile is composed almost entirely of hops. Flowery, citric and piney, the hoppiness is accented lightly with touches of malt sweetness in the middle while finishing bitter and dry. Palate is fittingly mellow, effervescent, smooth and mouth-watering, medium body. Exceedingly drinkable and tasty, if a tad unbalanced.

On tap everywhere--An old standby--Poured a copper amber body with a medium white head. Dank, citrus hops and a hardly malty spine. Well-built brew.

On tap at the Bocktown. Looks like the typical ubiquitous pale yellow American lager. Thin white head made of smaller creamy bubbles. Just a small amount of floral hop aroma. Again, just barely. Has an earthy hint to the taste and then the hops hit pretty hard. Decent carbonation. Lets chew on some grapefruit rinds. Another sip causes the bitterness to build but it is not tremendously offensive. Finish is long lasting medicinal bitterness on the back of your throat, typical IPA finish. Somebody give me a Old Heathen to wash this down with. I have yet to adjust to the IPA style.

Orangeish amber pour with foamy offwhite head. Slightly subdued subtly sweet caramel, malt smell with a bigger note of hops come together and give it almost a candy like smell. Not quite the hop bomb in the nose I expected, but it’s different, and nice still. Taste gives a candy like malt sweetness, and some hops, but not very aggressively so. I’d say its a mild IPA bitterness wise, and this is unique, very drinkable and a great IPA that I’d have again.

I have never had anything from this brewer before but being that I am a bit of a hophead I was looking forward to trying it. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy bronze color with a large tan head. The aroma is strong grapefruit and fruit cocktail. The mouthfeel is nice and fairly thick. The malt presence surprised me in such a hoppy beer. The flavor is strong full bore grapefruit and fruit cocktail. The beer is marvelously hoppy and pleasantly sweet with a goodly amount of malt despite the dominance of the hyper aggressive hops. Wonderful.

golden amber with a huge, no make that really huge head with big dents and craters like the surface of the moon...the mango aroma hinted of tartness and subtle alcohol, lightly carbonated? I think not, heavily carbinated, well yes, not a bad thing though IMO...hops were pretty mellowed out and balanced until the finish came around where they popped out like a little birdie in a coo-coo clock... super hoppy finish and slightly fruity with bitter mangoness

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Has a sharp hop aroma. Citrus, pine, and herbal. Flavor is bitter hops with some light malt backing. The aftertaste just doesn’t sit right. Light to medium body. A decent IPA but doesn’t stand up to the Big Boys.
