Smells of mild floral hops. Medium bodied with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Has a sweet cream and caramel flavor with a mildly tart hop taste to finish.
Lots of malt flavors. The hops are around but they’re not the highlight here.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2004 This poured a dark orange into the PBR sniffer glass. The smell is off, it smells like wet laundry hosed down with Orange Clean. It tastes flat with only a slight amount of bitterness. Its mostly sour and has a sort of chalky aftertaste. The palate is a bit thin on this. Not too impressed. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2004 bottle. pours an amber witha light tan head. very sweet malty aroma that has hints of hops. this is a nice pale ale, but the hops are understated. leaves a sweeter malt flavor. finish is also sweet with just a hint of hop flavor. if this was labeled as a pale ale it would be great, but as an IPA it is mediocre at best. swoopjones (1917), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 2, 2007 12 oz bottle. Clear amber with a big off white head. Nice foamy lace. Nose is grassy and grapefruit citrus, light pine. Mild sweet maltiness behind the hoppy wall of flavor - lots of citrus and grass. Pine appears toward the end. Lasting bitter finish. A nice drinker - very good! frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Pours a honey-golden/amber, moderately effervescent, under a thick, off-white head which holds long and spackle my glass with lace. Floral, piney hops coat the nose along with a suggestion of lemongrass above just a hint of dishwater. A bit bland and mineralish at first, but hops crawl out as it warms (not to the point where I can distinguish one from another of the "43 different" mentioned above, but overall piney, grapefruity and grassy with a touch of pepper to linger.) Not overdone and fairly sessionable. And I am not one to session IPAs.
