Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Flowery hops, light toasted malt, candi sugar and grassines sin the noise. I should have poured this more carefully - lots of floaties. Flavor is toasted malt at first, sharp bitterness follows on the the back of my tounge, but its got a sweet, grassy finish.

Bottle from Pailhead. Lightly hazy and amber colored. Decent off-white head leaves good lacing. Aroma is piney, a touch earthy. Medium to light bodied. Caramel malt flavor balanced by piney hop flavor. Nothing exceptional.

The Dan Journal #18. Tasted 5/30/07. 22oz bomber. Hazy with a dark golden amber hue. Minimal head. Toasty caramel malt aromas. Pine and maple aromas. Toasty bready malts. Dry and bitter. Nice piney hop profile. Good!

Pours with a big but short lived head. Light yellow with a slight haze. Sweet aroma, fresh hops of a NW variety. Refined candied malt flavor, balanced with big floral, estery hops. Finish is drying, crisp. Round earthiness. Very good.

12 fl. oz. bottle at my small outdoor tasting together with Kjetil B., Roger and Asgeir. Hazy copper color, moderate white head. Aroma is hops. Flavor is very balanced with nice hops and fruit.

Bottle. Pours light, clear orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, grass and oranges. Taste is smooth, balanced, lightly bitter and hoppy. Highly drinkable though not incredibly flavorful.

Very tasty IPA. Full of hop flavor, citrus, caramels, and a slight spiceness reminicent of nutmeg. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just a solid IPA.
