Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Really good aromas of pine, grapefruit and grass over a copperish body with a bunch of floaties. The only criticism I can come up with is that the malt is pretty light in this beer and there is a little bit of a weak spot as the palate develops. Other than that, this is a finely crafted IPA with a nice balance.

on tap @ papago. rich golden pour with a thin long lasting white head. aromas of caramel, citrus, pine and bubble gum. flavor is orange, grassy, caramel and pine without being overly sweet or hoppy. finishes dry and piney. it lingers for a while. medium body and carbonation. almost a nice sessionable ipa.... the sugar would get a bit annoying after a while...7/3/7/3/15/3.5

Bottle. Pours a clear orange/amber with a huge, creamy white head. Aroma and flavor of piney, bitter hops with some citrus, salt. Good, chill, and refreshing. This really hits the spot after 6 or so glasses of super sour lambics on a 90 degree day sitting outside in the heat. I would try it again in other conditions, of course.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a light amber, off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit. Faint flavor of grain, obvious hops, with a very nice hop bitter, nicely balanced. Palate is med-body with med-high carbonation.....Overall, an excellent IPA.

(10/26/08) Bottle at Spuyten Duyvil in Brooklyn. Clear amber color with a bit of white foam. Aroma of floral hops. Sweetish flavor with some malt and bready notes at first and afterwards nice refreshing bitter hops with a bit of citric notes. A nice quaffable IPA.

Bottle. Pours a light amber color with a thin soapy head. Mild grapefruit hop aroma. Palate not very lively. Decent grapefruit hop kick to start with a little tingling hop finish. The hop character overall could be cleaner, but not a bad brew at all.

Pours a hazy amber with little floaties and an off-white head. Aroma is very floral and hoppy. Taste is very nicely balanced with a strong hop presence, with good malt backing. Very floral with pine and grapefruit/citrus. Taste needs to be a little sweeter IMO. Mouthfeel is full but could use more body. Has a very bitter aftertaste. Nice lacing on the glass. A quality IPA.
