Bright clear amber pour with gauzy foamy near-white head. Some citrus and tropical fruit hop notes; as piney as some of their other offerings. Good bit of grainy malt. Quite nice, with a smooth, crisp finish. Slick palate. Easy to drink. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 16, 2004 Bottled. Amber color with a small white head. Nice hop aroma with a lot of citrus.
Somewhat bitter hop flavor that is balanced fairly well with the malt. Dry
finish. BuckNaked (1209), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 26, 2004 Bottle: Good west coast IPA. Lots of bitter citrus and grapefruit hops in the aroma. Cascade hops dominate the taste, nice and citrus/grapefruity yet crisp taste. The caramel malt provides a consistent base to the high levels of hops. Not amazing, but a very solid example of this style. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA

One of my favorite IPAs. Wonderful flower and pine notes that folds into that great malty taste. End with grapefruit and other citrus. Very nice. I think I’ll have another sip. Pours a clear but saturated golden with an adequate head.
Palate is somewhat unsatisfying; aroma is fruity, as is the taste; fruit notes overwhelm the bitterness and the malts are are very scantly represented. This one is not as full as many of the better IPA competitors, though certainly pleasent enough to drink.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 10, 2008 This is a solid IPA. It pours the deep copper color with a hoppy & grapefruity aroma. The hops bite at first sip just like they should. The only negative for me was the finish. This beer has a dry finish that left a bad taste. SDalkoholic (1198), Chula Vista, California, USA

Its not as strong as the other IPA’s I’ve had but thats okay cuz with this one I had a few and did’nt get sick of it. I’m a weirdo so you can call me that when i say the burps from this beer tasted yummy and licking the resin of this beer off my lips was good too.
