Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Citrus and hop aroma, copper in color, white head, flavor is of grass, hop, and barely any malt. Weird finish and aftertaste, almost like what i would imagine eating flour or baking soda would taste like. Odd texture left on my tongue. Thoroughly disappointing.

Nice hop to it, nothing over the top. Just enough to know the brewer cares about you. Good copper color with a very active head. Nice citrus up front with a nice little bite to it.

as far as IPAs go, this was pretty above average. Not great, but definitely better than most. Quite hoppy, but didn’t have the malt backbone one would expect. tasty, though.

There is a nice earthy aroma and the color is amber with a light tan head. The taste starts of with a malty sweetness and quickly finishes with a strong hop flavor.

Crushed with Honkeybra. Lots of awesome floral hops on the nose. Gave way to...nothing. This is the Calista Flockhart of ipa’s: probably smells and looks nice, but absolutely no body whatsoever. Flavor is severely lacking in anything related to a ipa.

I haven’t rated this yet? - 2009 Bottle - Pours clear orange with a frothy off white head...aroma is biting citrus peel and massive hop florals, with some sticky pine resin mixed in as well...flavour is different than I remember, slightly sweet caramel up front, giving way to grapefruit and pine bitterness that lingers shortly and is then gone...decent IPA, but doesn’t blow me away any more....hmm...

22 oz bomber from local grocery. Reddish Amber. Hoppy citrus aroma. The taste is fair but more hoppy than I like. Way too much bitter astringant aftertaste.************** 6/28/2007 rerate-11 months after original rating which was 8/3/6/3/11=3.1****** 22 oz bottle via Roth’s. Pours a semi-clear amber with an average sized head. Nose is lemon, orange and floral hops. Taste the same with some grapefruit and pine in the finish/aftertaste. Body is medium. Carbonation average. An above average IPA.

old rating: 6/3/7/3/14 - 3.3. pours a semi-clear orange amber with a thin dirty-white head, and good lacing. smells of light citrus, cherry wood, dry leaves, definite hops, and a little sugar. tastes a crisp, bitter and sweet, some citrus, pine, and some caraeml, ends dry and nicely bitter.
