Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Medium clear orange with a large light tan head. Nose is consumed by the Lagunitas yeast, which smells like brown sugar, cinnamon and cedar. Combine that with a nutty, old spiced fruit hop scent. Lacks depth. Only a small amount of fruit noticed in the finish after a rather coarse nuts and unsweet brown sugar.

Bottled. Golden, almost clear, with an off-white head. Citrus, malt, sweetness and pine in the aroma. Malty, sweet flavor with citrus and pine. Full body, and a lot of bitterness in the finish. Bitter but pleasant. (060720)

Bottled: Dark golden/amber coloured. Clear. Dark beige dense head. Lasting. Flowers, fruit, herbs and sweetness in the aroma. Flavour is malty and sweet with a herbal hoppyness. Is quite grassy. Well balanced and medium bodied. Is medium bitter in the end. Quite good one.

(35.5cl bottle) Slightly hazy, amber colour with a short off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty and slightly toasted aroma with biscuits and a delicate hoppy touch with lemon-fruity and slightly woody notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Aromatic and complex malt-character with notes of biscuits, caramel, licorice and subtle fruity and woody hoppy accents. Almost dry, malty finish with a good bitterness-sweetness ratio and light to moderate but aromatic hops (18.II.09).

Fairly mild and non-aggressive of an IPA, this ale pours an orange-copper body with a sudsy, well retained head. The aroma is hops, predominantly pine with some grassiness and a smattering of orange. It’s well balanced, the malt half of the equation being mild and caramelly. Mildly bitter finish. More of a session APA than an IPA, really.

Very hazy orange/yellow with a very light sticky head & lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly citrusy at first but fades into bland. The flavor is not very hoppy but the ending bitterness is definately apparent. This is more light & balanced than most IPAs I'm used to.

Bottle. Clear copper color with an average rocky white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Good hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with an average finish. Good brew.
